Ms. Urmila Uday Gujar is a dedicated educator and social worker with a profound commitment to child development and value-based education. As a co-founder of the Uday Gujar Foundation (UGF), she has been instrumental in initiating and overseeing various programs aimed at uplifting underprivileged children, especially in rural areas.

 Major Career Achievements:

Urmila Gujar is a dedicated School Psychologist with over three decades of experience in the field of education. Her expertise spans comprehensive child development, intelligence enhancement, effective study techniques, and value-based education. As the Co-founder and Director of Uday Gujar Foundation since its inception in 2014, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s vision and programs, with a strong focus on education, skill development, and environmental sustainability.

Throughout her career, Urmila has been deeply involved in training educators and providing guidance and counseling services to both parents and teachers. She has worked with esteemed institutions like Jnana Prabodhini and Swaroop Wardhinee, in addition to her private practice. Her work as an active researcher has led to the creation of valuable educational reference materials and the publication of several research papers.

Urmila is also the co-author of the widely acclaimed Marathi book “Hasat Khelat Buddhivikas”, which highlights her commitment to nurturing the intellectual growth of children through playful learning. Her contributions extend to writing insightful articles for educational magazines and books.

Passionate about charitable work, she is actively involved in initiatives aimed at uplifting underprivileged children, especially those from rural backgrounds.
