Sheetal Bapat is a dedicated educator and social entrepreneur based in Pune, India. She is the Founder Director of Shyamchi Aai Foundation (SAF), a research-based, technology-driven non-profit organization established in 2013. SAF focuses on enabling secondary school students to make informed education choices that lead to meaningful careers. Additionally, she co-founded Seekhlo Academy, an initiative aimed at promoting non-conventional learning ecosystems through online teacher training and career guidance programs. Sheetal has been actively involved in national consultations for the National Education Policy (NEP), contributing to shaping educational reforms in India.

Major Career Achievements:

Founder Director, Shyamchi Aai Foundation (SAF): Established SAF to bridge the gap betweeneducation, skills, and livelihoods. The foundation has launched several initiatives, including the Kal Chachani Project, an ability test for students, and a life skills curriculum reaching over 3.4 million students annually.

Co-Founder, Seekhlo Academy: Developed an online in-service teacher training program that has reached over 41,000 secondary school teachers in Maharashtra. The academy also offers a holistic career guidance project impacting over 100 million students across five states.

Policy Advocacy: Contributed to national consultations for the National Education Policy (NEP), influencing educational reforms to promote holistic development and career readiness among students.

Advisory Roles: Serves on the advisory board of the Uday Gujar Foundation, providing strategic guidance on educational and skill development initiatives.
