Mayur Jaykumar Vora

Born on January 9, 1958, in Mumbai, India, Mayur Vora is a seasoned entrepreneur and philanthropist. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Fergusson College, Pune (1978), and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (1980). Additionally, he completed a Diploma in the International Program in Practicing Management from INSEAD, France. Vora began his career at Voltas Ltd., Mumbai, before venturing into the food industry. In 1988, he joined Mahabaleshwar Fruit Products, which he later rebranded as Mapro Foods Pvt. Ltd., transforming it into a leading manufacturer of fruit-based products. Under his leadership, Mapro Foods has grown significantly, with Mapro Garden becoming a popular tourist destination attracting over 4 million visitors annually.

 Major Career Achievements:

Managing Director, Mapro Foods Pvt. Ltd. (1990–Present): Transformed a small fruit processing unit into a renowned brand known for its fruit-based products. Established Mapro Garden, a major tourist attraction in Panchgani, Maharashtra.

Director, Uday Gujar Foundation Advisory Board: Contributes to the foundation’s initiatives in skill development, education, and environmental sustainability.

Director, Panchvktra Foundation: Involved in various charitable activities aimed at community development.

Trustee, Poona Blind Men’s Association: Supports the organization’s efforts in providing education and rehabilitation to visually impaired individuals.
